She was predeceased by: her parents, George Lewis and Hazel Lewis (Kornetzki); her husband Henry "Hank" J. Hammond Jr.; her siblings, Jack Lewis, Helen Brust, Hazel Bentley, William Lewis, Arlayne Smith, Mildred Lewis, Milton Lewis and Jean Sliter; and her sister-in-law Susan Santierre.
She is survived by: her children, Sherri Wait (Jeff) of Wynantskill, NY, Darlene Gannon (Kevin) of Jacksonville, FL and James Hammond (Melissa) of Mims, FL; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Wait Jr. (Maegan), Jenelle Ellis (Richard), Jeanna Czerno (George), Nadine Collard (TJ), Kevin Gannon (Cynthia Teresi), Jhenyce Hammond and Levi Hammond (Savannah Garret); her great grandchildren, Jayce, Jax Wait, McKenna, Kinsley Ellis, Trey, Adalynn, Blayne Fleming, Westyn, Paisley Czerno, Charlotte, Whitney Collard, Sebastian Weber, Trystian Higgins and Waylon; her siblings, Jacqueline Pine and Shirley Little; her brother-in-law William Hammond (Ruth); and her caregivers, Leighann Biancaniello, Beth Litz, Tricia Jennings and Roberta Harvey.
