She is survived by: her sons, William Ryan Rooney Jr. (Susan) of Poestenkill, David M. Rooney (Kimberly) of Brunswick, Paul E. Rooney (Kristen) of Schenectady and Christopher J. Rooney (Mollie) of Glenville; her grandchildren, Caitlin E. Rooney (Ethan LeSage), Lillian E. Johnson, Megan M. Rooney (Sean Williams), Devon C. Rooney, William R. Rooney III, James P. Rooney (Aine Hardaker), Liam M. Rooney, Daniel C. Rooney (Kaitlyn), Clare E. Rooney and Caroline T. Rooney; and her friends, Toddy and Joan Ryan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. (276 Pawling Ave, Troy, NY 12180). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Victory Church (55 N Lake Ave, Troy, NY 12180).
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Colleen Rooney to the Alzheimers Association.
