Mary E. Shemels Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary E. Shemels (Troy, New York), who passed away on August 13, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent P. and Mary E. Malone. She is survived by: her children, Ashley Koziol (Eric) and Jessica Barnes Jr. (John); her grandchildren, Maximus John and Mckenna Ashley Barnes; and her siblings, Margaret Minarski (late Joseph), Patti Pafundi (Skip), Susan Kile (David) and Michael Malone (Marcia). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and relatives.
If desired, contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital where Mary was a dedicated donor for over 26 years.
