Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Michael for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. He was predeceased by: his mother Jeanne Cullett Cooney; and his uncle Gary Cullett. He is survived by: his sister Ann Neuville (Randy) of Augusta, Georgia.; his uncle Donald Cullett (Beverly) of Saratoga Springs; and his aunts, Bonnie Eden (late Ed) of Waterford and Gloria Ross (late Bill) of Glens Falls.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the American Legion Post 1489 (111 Main Ave, Wynantskill, NY 12198).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Michael J. Cooney to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society 3 Oakland Avenue Menands, NY 12204.
