With sadness, we share the passing of Patricia Bashford of Troy, New York. Patricia, born on February 23, 1932 in Wynantskill, New York, passed away on September 27, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Chamberlain and Elva Campbell Chamberlain; her husband Chauncey L. Bashford; and her siblings, Ellen Allen, Connie LeMaire and Leo Chamberlain.
She is survived by: her daughters, Katie Morrissey (Michael) and Megan VanAken (Rocco Mazzarello); her grandchildren, Padraic Chauncey Morrissey (Abbie), Maeve Elizabeth Morrissey (Justin Crovetto), Madelyn Jaye Roeloffs (Ian) and Payton Campbell VanAken; her great grandchild Mia Jaye Roeloffs; and her brother Michael Chamberlain. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. (4392 NY-150, West Sand Lake, NY 12196). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Poestenkill.
