He was predeceased by: his parents, C. Robert Shelford and Elizabeth Gordon Herrick Shelford; and his sisters, Elizabeth Paige and Nancy McCoon. He is survived by: his wife Mary Louise DeLair Herrick; his children, Jonathan Herrick (Katherine) of Wilton and Kirsten Doughty (William F., Jr.) of Alpharetta, GA; his grandchildren, Timmy, Billy Doughty, Maeve and Emmy Herrick; and his brothers, Robert Herrick (Josie), W. Mark Herrick and Fred Herrick (Pamela).
