He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard J. McDermott and Mildred F. Bonesteel McDermott; and his sister Kathleen McDermott. He is survived by: his children, Michael McDermott (Katie) and Meaghan Henry (Kevin); his grandchildren, Zoe, Elana, Riley, Logan, Levi and Grant; his siblings, Eileen Lojewski (Stephen), Kevin McDermott and Keith McDermott (Eileen); and his close friend Richard Farley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephew.
