He is survived by: his wife Eidin Beirne; his daughter Clare Dunne (Timmy) of Rockaway Beach, NY; and his siblings, Dean J. Higgins (Pam), William P. Higgins and Mary Johnson (Carl) of Easton, MD. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
