He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer David and Elizabeth McIntyre Hydorn; his wife Joyce Ann Schumann Hydorn; and his sister Marcia Cady. He is survived by: his son Robert J. Hydorn; his sister-in-law Barbara Ives (Ronald); and his sibling's children, Edward Cady and Mildred Cady (Marnen Laibow-Koser).
