She was predeceased by: her father James Tucker Jr.; her siblings, Lester Tucker and Hazel Tucker; her aunts and uncles, Sarah Gore, Lillie Butler, Edna Knox, Margaret Gore, Rose Pee, Wilhelmenia Holmes, Leon Butler, Ephlis Washington, David and Arthur Holmes; her cousin Don Butler; and her nephews, Jermaine Canteen and Eric Tucker.
She is survived by: her mother Essie Mae Holmes Tucker; her husband Curtis L. Gardner; her children, Tasha R. Gardner and Todd C. Gardner (Karen) of Latham, NY; her granddaughter Olivia (Jacob); her siblings, Barbara Gray of Temple Hill, MD, Jauvonne Tucker of Conway, SC, Janice Tucker of Suitland, MD, Twlya Tucker of Morningside, MD, Timothy Tucker (Patricia), Joe Harold Tucker and Erwin Tucker (Charita) of Accokeek, MD; her uncle Matthew Holmes; and her cousins, JoAnne Belt (Richard), Doris Day and Maureen Butler of Troy, NY.. She is also survived by one sister-in-law, three brothers-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
