She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Dixon and Doris Dixon (Decker) of Albany, NY. She is survived by: her sister Nancy; and her brother-in-law John Faccone of Clifton Park, NY.. She is also survived by many aunts, cousins, and children.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cannon Funeral Home (2020 Central Ave, Albany, NY 12205). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In keeping with Sandy's wishes, in lieu of flowers please consider a donation in her name to the Cardiac & Cardiovascular Program at Samaritan Hospital through Samaritan Hospital & The Eddy Foundation, 310 South Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208, in the hopes that the funding will help other people get better from new treatments.
