She was predeceased by: her parents, William Film, Sr. and Agnes O'Brien Film; her husband William C. Madsen, Sr.; her son Donald Madsen (Lynn); and her siblings, William, Jr., Lucille, Virginia, Betty and Olive.
She is survived by: her children, William C. Madsen, Jr. (Regina) of Melrose and Mary Beth Amato (John) of Slingerlands; and her grandchildren, Sara Walsh (Joe), Kelly Madsen, Regina Fitzsimmons, Alexander Fitzsimmons (Louise), Laura Murray (Justin) and Melissa Mahadeo (Ray). She is also survived by her five great grandchildren, also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wynantskill Funeral Home (294 Whiteview Rd, Wynantskill, NY 12198). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Elmwood Hill Cemetery (51 Belle Ave, Troy, NY 12180).
