She is survived by: her children, John D. Shelgren Jr. of Asheville, NC, Jay D. (Jess Shelgren), James D. (Lori Ann Shelgren), Juli D. Silva of Troy, Jerry D. (Yvonne Shelgren) and Joni D. (James Fasoldt); and her brother George W. (Dona Speedy). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Perry-Komdat Funeral Chapel (2691 NY-43, Averill Park, NY 12018). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
