She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Slater and Jane Shipman Slater; her husband Anthony R. Giunta; and her brother Charles Slater. She is survived by: her children, Felicia "Lisa" Sawyer Bones (Ausberto) of Watervliet, Bernie Sawyer (Tracie) of Cambridge and Barbara Sawyer Wangler of Troy; and her grandchildren, Angie Franco, Ian Hasslinger (Casey), Amanda Coleman (Robert), Alex Sawyer (Samantha), Billy Wangler (Felicia), Joshua Wangler (Molly), Alicia Cruz (Anthony) and Casey Wangler. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a large extended family.
