She was predeceased by: her parents, John Martula and Helen Martula; and her husband David A. She is survived by: her brothers, Dick Martula (Ann) and David Martula (Tanyss); her nephew Stefan; her niece Rose (David); her great-niece Brooke; her stepchildren, Noelle and Nathan (Amy); her goddaughter Deslyn (Alex); her grandchildren, Kage, Kevin, Cameron, Mia, MacKenzie, Isabelle, Penda and Charlotte; and her friends, Ellen, Victor and Mitsuko.

She displayed these same qualities during her recent years of treatment for her illness and the pandemic.
