She was predeceased by: her parents, Lead Joe and Florence Robinson Joe; her husband Junior Dukes; her son Ronald Dukes (Winnie); her siblings, Sara Poindexter (late John), Sumpter Green, John Joe and Barbara Ludell Scott; and her godchild Laurie Hilton.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Dukes and John Dukes (Dorothy) of Troy, NY; her grandchildren, Maurice Dukes of Troy, NY, Michelle Dukes of Owings Mills, MD, Rahman Dukes (Gina) of Tappan, NY, Danica Dukes of Troy, NY, Shaneaka Dukes of Albany, NY and Rafael Anderson (Ashley) of Phoenix, AZ; her great grandchildren, Brianah, Mason, Jakari, Rahsaan, Rahsiyah, Brooke, Cameron, Caiden and Jasier; her sister Valerie Livingston of Lawrence, GA; her goddaughters, Rosie Brinson, Pamela Dukes-Wright and Ramona Smith; and her close friends, Olivia Booker, Thelma Brown and Carol Praylor. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
