We are sad to announce that on April 9, 2024 we had to say goodbye to William A. Gearing of Troy, New York, born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Franklin Gearing and Jennie Gearing (Berlt). He is survived by : his daughter Sarah Barber (Patricia Lofink); and his brothers, Wayne Gearing (Dodie) and Alan Gearing. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wenk Funeral Home (21 Payn Ave, Chatham, NY 12037). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the New York State Grange in honor of Bill's memory.
