He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Powers and Helene Powers (Morris); and his brother Philip Birmingham. He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Powers (Auernig) of Pittstown; his sons, Nicholas, William J. Powers of Margaretville and Lewis A. Powers; his sister Charmaine Morizio of Troy; and his siblings-in-law, Donna and Tom Grant of Babcock Lake. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
