He is survived by: his wife Margaret J. Lener; his children, Ed (Dawn), Elizabeth (Rob) and Jeff Lener (Nicole); and his grandchildren, Aaron, Malcolm and Ezra.

A funeral service was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ness-Sibley Funeral Home (23 South St, Trumansburg, NY 14886).
