He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles VanIdistine and Janie VanIdistine; and his wife Rose Marie. He is survived by: his children, Peter VanIdistine (Sally) of Trumansburg and Vicki Merritt (Gary Bryant) of Cosby, Tennessee; and his granddaughter Jade Merritt (Nick Bradley) of Royse City, Texas..
