He was predeceased by : his parents, John Baranska and Eva Patterson Baranska; and his siblings, Jacqueline, Mary and Johnny.

He is survived by : his son Patrick; his grandchildren, Dylan, Scerenia and Ryan; his great grandchild Liam; his sister Alice; his brother-in-law Volker Schmidt of Texas; his brother Jerry; and his sister-in-law Jean Baranska of South Carolina.
