He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Frances McLoughlin (Cloonan); his parents, Michael McLoughlin and Anne McLoughlin; his children, Deirdre (Joseph Reich), Christopher (Toni), Peter (Lisa), Patricia (James O'Donnell), Karen (Ted Sorlien) and Gerard Jr. (Mary Beth); his grandchildren, Shane, Colleen, Lindsey Reich, Ryan, Jason McLoughlin, Brendan (Lindsey), Colin (Elise), Devin (Alexandra), Quinlan McLoughlin, Megan, Erin, Kevin, Kelly O'Donnell, Hannah Jane, Sarah, Kai Sorlien, Aidan, Kathleen, Molly and Gerard McLoughlin III; and his great grandchildren, Nathan and Lili McLoughlin. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
