It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John B. Ruffing (Tully, New York), born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 13, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Ruffing and Catherine Boyle Ruffing; his siblings, Betty DePaul (Richard), Leo Ruffing (Teresa), James Ruffing (Jeanette), Donald Ruffing (Sibyl), Alice Petrulo (Pete), Lois Miller (Joe) and Lawrence Ruffing (Ruth); and his brothers-in-law, John Hasenjager (Vera) and Bill Hasenjager (Mary Lou).
He is survived by: his wife Marcia Hasenjager Ruffing; his son Curt Ruffing (Salina); his granddaughter Cara Ruffing; and his brother Gilbert Ruffing (Debbie). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
