It is with sadness that the passing of Joan Denis of Tupper Lake, New York is shared. Joan, born on February 9, 1934, passed away on October 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Brunette and Viola Brunette (Boushie); her husband Joseph Denis; her siblings, Betty, Don and Ken; and her son-in-law Gary Marks.
She is survived by: her significant other Bob Lily; her children, Larry Denis (Jackie), Terry Marks (David Fishel), Penny, Tom (Maroun), Chris Denis (Jeanne), Amy, Rob (Donle), Nicolle and Armand (Mitchell); and her grandchildren, Jason Denis, Jeremey Marks, Nathan Marks, Evan Maroun, Lindsey Hayes, Sam Denis, Lucas Denis, Kristen Priven, Kelsey Root, Alexandra Root, Emily Mitchell and Grace Mitchell. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and her many lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Frary Funeral Home - Tupper Lake (24 Cliff Ave, Tupper Lake, NY 12986). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Alphonsus Cemetery (4 Watters Dr, Tupper Lake, NY 12986).
