He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Barba and Alphalena Barba (Gillette); and his siblings, Donna, Carolyn and Stephen.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara LaBurt-Barba of Venice, Florida; his children, Sharon Key (Thomas) of Tuxedo, Adrienne Barba (Terrell) of North Port, Florida, Peter Barba (Elizabeth) of Monroe and Robert Barba (Melanie) of Pine Island; and his sister Laurel Bates (Melvyn) of Sloatsburg. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
