He is survived by: his spouse Terry Vatter; his sons, Asa Redmond (Stephanie), Simeon Redmond (Cheyenne) and Andrew Culpepper (Jenny); his grandchildren, Gavin, Jezebel, Tristan, Shell Redmond and Wesley Culpepper; and his niece Hannah Tvedten of Lexington, SC..
