He was predeceased by: his parents, Clair Smith and Nellie Smith (Stanton); his children, Lisa Smith Bolster and Jeremiah Ostrander; and his siblings, Mary Millus (Vic), Beverly Rowe (Bunny), Harry (Thelma), William (Mary) and Steve Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Karee Gilmore (John) of Sidney, Deb Shafer (Don) of Greene and Josh Ostrander (Pam) of Unadilla; and his in-laws, David "Rusty" Cole, Ralph Cole and Bill Ostrander. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and many nieces, nephews and special friends.
