She was predeceased by: her husband Noel C. McFarlane; and her parents, Francisco Gomez and Leona Gomez. She is survived by: her siblings, Francisco, Leona Gomez, Laura, Felipe and Fernando; her extended family, Stanley, Marion, Lloyd, Owen and Beryl McKenzie; her godparents, Percevil Walcott and Catherine Slack; her friend Cecilia Lawson; her children, Robert, Maria, Nicolle and Courtenay (Norma); her siblings, Cleto and Elvira Gomez; her extended family, Sonia, Inez, Raymond, Colette McKenzie, Dorothy, George Lee, Carol, Andre, Christian, Bryan Etienne, Mateo Young, Carlos Miller, Raul and Mateo Lawson; her goddaughters, Annie O'Loughlin and Cecilia Etienne; and also Noel C. McFarlane. She is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hartnett Funeral Home (561 Jerusalem Ave, Uniondale, NY 11553). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Hempstead (267 Jackson St, Hempstead, NY 11550). A graveside service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Pinelawn Memorial Park (2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735).
