We announce the death of Nelson Perez of Uniondale, New York, who passed away on September 10, 2026. Nelson will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his father Jose M. Perez. He is survived by: his mother Maria S. Estevez; his daughter Jessenia Richards (Francil Richards); his grandchildren, Isabella and Isaac; his son Nelson Anthony Perez (Elizabeth Perez); his grandchildren, Matilyn and Valentina; his son Elvis Perez; and his siblings, Virgilio, Miguel and Kenia.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Hartnett Funeral Home (561 Jerusalem Ave, Uniondale, NY 11553). A graveside service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Greenfield Cemetery (650 Nassau Rd, Uniondale, NY 11550).
