It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandy Gibbs of Unionville, New York, born in Troy, New York, who passed away on November 6, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklyn Sanderson and Elisabeth Sanderson. She is survived by: her children, Daniel (Beth Gibbs) of Troutman, NC, Matthew (Anna Gibbs) of Wallkill, NY, Kemlo (Shota Aki) of Weare, NH, Kathy (Steve Margolis) of Ocala, FL, Jim (Carolyn Gibbs) of Chandler, AZ and Along; her grandchildren, Adam Gibbs (Asheton), Ashley Gardner (Austin) and Abbey Gibbs; her children, Lisa Horton (Brandon), Kristina Gibbs, Tyler Gibbs (Andrea), Helen Aki, Megan Aki and Jacob Aki; her great grandchildren, Sophia Easterday and Anthony Horton; her brother Franklyn; her sister-in-law Elisabeth Sanderson of Troy, NY; and her close friend Anne Dusenbury. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
