He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvid Owens and Dorothy Owens; his grandmother Elizabeth Owens; his stepmother Anna Owens; his parents-in-law, Salvatore and Constance Prester; and his brother-in-law Eugene DeCrisci (Douglas Reader).
He is survived by: his wife Carol Prester; his children, Mark (Bianca Owens), Brian (Diana Owens) and Tracey; his son-in-law Frank Archambeault; his grandchildren, Ethan, Jackson Archambeault, Eliana, Rachel Owens, Luca, Salvatore and Nina Owens; his in-laws, Dennis, Juliette Giovinazzo and Johanna DeCrisci; his brother Bruce; his sister-in-law Edna Owens; his stepsisters, Sandra Reader and Jackie (Rick Roberts); and his cousins, Anthony, Joanne Sisti, Beverly DiPerna and Alvin. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Mother of Our Savior Parish (2222 Genesee St, Utica, NY 13502).
