He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Getz and Rose Getz (Sergott); his siblings, Elizabeth Getz and Larry; and his siblings-in-law, Geraldine Getz, Bryan Sperry and Richard Salecki.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn J. Salecki of Mary's Church; his daughter Michelle (Shelly); his son-in-law Daniel Simmons; his son Scott; his grandsons, Cody of New York Mills and Connor Simmons of New York Mills; and his sister-in-law Nancy Salecki of Rochester. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives, many dear friends and former coworkers.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances in Amil's name may be made to Anita's Stevens-Swan Humane Society.
