He is survived by: his wife Kavita Bhatt; his sons, Arvind Bhatt of Southport, CT and Alok Bhatt (Charul) of Trumbull, CT; his grandchildren, Josh, Jai and Jeyna Bhatt; and his siblings, Shakuntla Sharma, Dr. Shiv (Sukeerti Bhatt), Subodh (Abha Bhatt), Vinod (Uma Bhatt) and Usha (Virendra Sharma). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
