She was predeceased by: her parents, Dominick Scavo and Rose Amelio Scavo; her husband Joseph M. DePalma; and her sisters, Caroline Scavo, Josephine (Tim), Rosalie Maggiolino and Frances (Tony Borruso).

She is survived by: her children, Deanna (Brett Alpaugh), Gina M. (Christopher Whalen) and Joseph M. Jr.; her daughter-in-law Laura DePalma; her grandchildren, Timothy, Christina Whalen, Alexandra Whalen-Raman, Nicholas, Stefanie Whalen, Alyssa Alpaugh and Francesca DePalma; her great grandchildren, Brayden, Luke and Payton Whalen; her brother Dominick "Dick"; her siblings-in-law, Rita Scavo, John and Gaynor DePalma; and her friend Josephine Edington. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
