He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Files and Margaret Bruin; his close friend Barbara Catrombone; his stepdaughter Nicoletta Ash; his siblings, Peggy Farrance, Richard Files, Thomas Files and Maureen Files; his nephew Christopher Jarvis; and his siblings-in-law, Diane, James Cornell, Roseanne and Edward Klein.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Pamela, Rocco Basi, Dawn, Jim Blair, Roseann Janicke and Elizabeth Russell; his grandchildren, Rocco Jr., Tracy Basi, Adria, Jared Tafel, Kari Jo, C. J. Walker, Candice Fuino (John), Joshua Blair (Julie), Allison Fuino and Jessica Hale; his great grandchildren, Isiah, Faith, Karamia, Trinity, Kenny, Kaydence, Kassadie, Zoey, Piper, Chelsea, Mac, Rockie Lynn, Micah, John Jr., Samario and Katalina; his siblings, Francis, Nancy Files of Liverpool, Ronald David, Karen Files of Auburn and David Ronald Files of San Diego, California; and his close friend Paula Rzepka. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
