With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Denise Estelle Brown (Utica, New York), who passed away on November 7, 2025 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father John Stafford Brown; her sister Cynthia McRae; and her mother Betty Brown. She is survived by: her children, James Matthews Sr., Jonikmous Rogers and Tatiana Rogers; her daughter-in-law Ericka Sageer; her sister Gretchen Wellington; her niece Ashely Wellington; her friend Dierdre Guilford; and her grandchildren, Annaira Howard, James Matthews Jr., Jo'Lanii Matthews and Jazzlyn Matthews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Eannace Funeral Home, Inc. (932 South St, Utica, NY 13501). A prayer will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
