We announce the death of Elizabeth A. Duck of Utica, New York, who passed away on August 19, 2026, at the age of 93. Elizabeth will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Elizabeth will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Elizabeth will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Elizabeth’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Fischer and Helen Fischer (Wildhack); her husband Edward Thomas Duck; her sons, Mark Edward Duck and Eric Allen Duck; and her brother Roger Fischer.
She is survived by: her sons, Scott Duck of North Utica and Christopher Duck of Utica; and her brother Gary Fischer of North Utica. She is also survived by grandchildren and adored nieces and nephews.
