She was predeceased by: her parents, Abid Zolj and Sida Hrustan; and her spouse Mustafa Gagula. She is survived by: her daughter Zineta Avdic; her granddaughter Berina Avdic; her siblings, Hanka Zolj and Abid Zol; and her extended family Bosnia.

A graveside service was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Bosnian Islamic Cemetery.
