He is survived by : his wife Judy; his sons, Phillip (Carol Irizarry) and Oscar (Shellie Irizarry); his grandchildren, Kara, Aaron Ashley, Justin Phillip, Erin Irizarry, Phillip, Jennifer Goeckel, Julia, Devin Anderson and Charlotte Irizarry; his great grandchildren, Aadriana, Julian, Silas and Luke; his grandchildren, Angie, Justin, Jr., Johnny and Isabella; and his siblings, Juan Irizarry, Emilio (Gladys Irizarry), Enrique (Gloria Molina), Carmen Aviles, Natividad "Nati" "Goly" Irizarry (Elisa M. Disla), Nicolas Irizarry (Pablo M. "Pavin" Irizarry), Anita "Ana" (Manuel A. Zayas) and Santos I. Irizarry Molina (Elsa Molina). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Eannace Funeral Home, Inc. (932 South St, Utica, NY 13501). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Historic Old St. John's Church (240 Bleecker St, Utica, NY 13501).
