She was predeceased by: her parents, Irene Murphy and Louis Murphy; her husband Steve; her son Timothy J. Gilles; her brothers, Thomas, Louis, Leonard and Robert Murphy; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Gilles and Bette Murphy.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen G. Gilles (Laurie Feldman), Mary Atwood (Dan), Irene Bowers (Bob), Martha Boyle (Brian), Joanne (David Hermann) and Trudy Sheldon (Nick); her daughter-in-law Jennene Mildenhall Gilles; and her sisters-in-law, Alice, Christine and Susan Murphy. She is also survived by twenty-eight grandchildren; thirty-seven great grandchildren, and many precious nieces and nephews.
