She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hobin and Nellie Hobin (Congdon); her siblings, Irving Hobin, Myrtle Will (Harry), Louise "Pudge" Taubert, Marion Bell (Leon) and Ed Congdon; her son John Martin Maciol; her siblings-in-law, Louis and Dorothy Osika; her daughter-in-law Vicki Russell; her niece Diane Hobin; and her nephew Robert Hobin.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan Maciol (Katherine Maciol) of Troy; her grandchildren, Anthony "AJ" Rizzo of Troy, Amelia Rizzo of Troy, Amanda Maciol-Emerick (Bethanie) of Marcy, Robert Maciol Jr. of Holland Patent and Sydney Maciol (Brandon Murphy) of Prospect; her great grandchild Lincoln Emerick; her siblings, Helen Fox (Roger) of Rome, John "Buck" Hobin (Darlene) of Barneveld, Larry Hobin (Mary) of Holland Patent and Lena Patti Kipp (Joe) of Remsen; and her siblings-in-law, Donna Hobin of Holland Patent and Dave Taubert of Rome. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances in Irene's name may be made to the Eastern Star Home or the Oriskany Fire Department.
