Joan C. Cummings Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan C. Cummings (Utica, New York), who passed away on April 15, 2025 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan C. Cummings to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Cromer and Margaret Cromer (Hahn); her husband John R. Cummings of Joseph's Church; her children, John Robert Cummings, Susan Marie Cummings and Sandra Jean Cummings; her sister Jacqueline Cromer; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Cromer and Audrey Rumont.
She is survived by: her brothers, Donald Cromer of Wappingers Falls, NY and Robert; her sister-in-law Diane Cromer of Marcy; her son-in-law Joseph Gendron of Sauquoit; her nieces, Kathleen Diehl, Christine Saglibene (Robert) and Elizabeth Cromer (Weston Barber); her great-niece Heather Diehl; and her great-nephew John Saglibene.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Heintz Funeral Home (408 Herkimer Rd, Utica, NY 13502). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Paul's Catholic Church (16 Park Ave, Whitesboro, NY 13492).
