With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joanne M. (Roberts) DeRocco (Utica, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 24, 2025 at the age of 81. She is survived by: her husband Armand; her children, JoanMarie DeRocco and Mark; her daughter-in-law Linda DeRocco; her granddaughters, Rachel DeRocco and Danielle DeRocco; her siblings, Barbara J. Nole (late Daniel A. Nole), Sharon L. Steppello (late Donald F. Steppello), Carol (Scott Nicotera), Judith E. VanGorder (late Garland Dale VanGorder), Mary Lourdes DeVito (late Albert DeVito), Pamela Hood (late Gary Hood), Ivy (Michael Maphia), Francis R. (Katie Roberts), Michael (Lynn Roberts), David (Deborah Roberts) and Elizabeth Anne "Liz" Scalise; and her brother-in-law Anthony M. "Tony" Scalise. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins; and close friends.
