John R. Husnay Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John R. Husnay (Utica, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 16, 2026 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Husnay and Margaret Husnay (Hoage); his wife Bernadine; his granddaughter Caitlin Marie Husnay; his great grandchild Audrianna Dichiera; his siblings, Margaret Lynch and Joseph Husnay; and his brothers-in-law, Nick Guidici and Edward Lynch.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy (Bruce Sedlak), Doreen (Dominick Madia), Peggy (Richard Maneen), John Husnay (Terry Murad), Robert (Michelle Husnay) and Michael (Michele Husnay); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Sedlak, Michael Madia (Lisa), Christopher Madia (Keri Topolski), Marybeth DiNardo (David), Daniel Dichiera (Rachel), Katie Maneen (Jessica Czachowski), John Husnay (Brittany), David Husnay (Suzanne), Cianna Husnay, Jessica Pérez Montalvo (Luis), Ashleigh Husnay, Patrick Husnay (Kayla Smith) and Stephanie Husnay (John Avery); his great grandchildren, Vincenza, Bianca, Juliano, Francesco, Arya, Adylena, Ava, Asher, Gabriella, Sophia, Anthony, Finn, Aiden, John Robert and Julia; his godson Johnny Husnay; his siblings, James Husnay (Dale), Thomas Husnay (Regina), Michael Husnay, Rosemary Guidici and Patricia Hisman (James); and his sister-in-law Mary Ann Husnay. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
