He was predeceased by: his parents, August DeCola and Maria DeCola (Tomassi); and his parents-in-law, Frank and Elisabetta A. Nalli. He is survived by: his wife Gloria; his children, Maria, Bob Gregorka, Jackie DeCola, Mike Giancotti, Joseph R. Jr. and Terry DeCola; and his grandson Joseph Luke (Jessica DeCola). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
