It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen M. Drake of Utica, New York, who passed away on June 12, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Karen departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Karen. Though Karen may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Sutton and Gladys Sutton (Smith); her sisters, Joann Wenner (Robert) and Trudy Devitt (Jack); and her close friend Michael Morschauser.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Hannah Russo of New Hartford; and her nephew Bobby Wenner (Bridget) of Deerfield.
