She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph R. LaPorte and Rose R. LaPorte (Orlando); her brother Orbano; and her sister-in-law Ruth LaPorte. She is survived by: her daughter Debra M. LaPorte-Jalonack; and her grandchildren, Alex, Tina Wakeel, Zoe, Aaron Maggiolino and Juliet Jalonack (Griffin Donohue). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
