Linda L. Rood Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on January 9, 2026, at the age of 72, Linda L. Rood (Utica, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Linda farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Linda is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Rood and Joyce Rood (Kimball); and her siblings, Barbra, Brenda, Sherry, Sharon and Joseph.
She is survived by: her daughter Shannon; her son-in-law Roger Boris; her son Dana Lawton; and her grandchildren, Gary Wilson and Samantha Wilson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
