We bid farewell to Marie S. (Piperata) Morreale (Utica, New York), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 25, 2025 at the age of 92. Marie S. touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dominick J. Piperata and Laura M. Piperata (Pazzola); her parents-in-law, Rosario and Catherine Morreale (LaBarbera); her in-laws, Mae, Rocco Galimo and Mary Ritz; and her goddaughter Regina "Gina" Ferguson.
She is survived by: her spouse Rosario J. "Russell" Morreale II; her son Russell III; her daughter-in-law Gail Morreale; her daughter Catherine; her son-in-law Joseph Fitzgerald; her grandchildren, Michael, Alissa Morreale, Meghan, Joshua Visalli, Matthew Morreale, William Schrader, Becca Kushner, Cayla and Joshua Embry; her great grandchild Luca Visalli; her grandchildren, Mia, Maddox, Macallan and Maverick Embry; her brother Richard "Peppy"; her sister-in-law Beverly; and her in-laws, George Purpura, Diana Piperata and Nancy Piperata. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Eannace Funeral Home, Inc. (932 South St, Utica, NY 13501). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary of Mt. Carmel/Blessed Sacrament Parish (648 Jay St, Utica, NY 13501).
