It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melanie A. LaMora (Utica, New York), born in Watertown, New York, who passed away on June 19, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John A. "Jack" LaMora and Gloria E. LaMora Halliday (Garvin). She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Thomas and Robert VandeNest, Jr.; her granddaughters, Haleigh Wilson and Brooke Wilson; her siblings, Pamela "Pam" LaMora, James O'Toole, Deb Halliday, John and Christy LaMora; her nieces, Elizabeth LaMora, Jen LaMora and Lori Gero; and her friends, Barb Obernesser, Paul Carson, Debbie Check and Nancy Trottier. She is also survived by nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins.
